Hey Team! September's here, and Crimson Collective is rolling straight out of an unforgettable month.
Shiny Wars 2026 has officially wrapped, and wow, what a ride! From clutch catches to late-night
shunts, every member showed up and showed out. August also marked the debut of the Crimson Vault,
a brand-new system that rewards dedication and activity. The feedback was incredible, and it's
already shaping up to be a core part of our future.
Now, we're shifting gears. Crimson Trials makes its long-awaited return this month, bringing fresh
challenges and bragging rights for those ready to prove their skill. And we're thrilled to welcome
a brand-new squad to the family: Iron Crimson Core!
To top it all off, September introduces our first-ever Shiny PvP Tournament, where strategy meets
style and every battle shines a little brighter. Whether you're fighting for glory or cheering from
the sidelines, this month is packed with excitement, community, and a whole lot of action! So, let's
dive into everything happening across Crimson Collective this September!

August - Shiny of the Month
The Crimson Collective
Caught across the entire Collective
The Shiny of the Month for August isn't about one standout catch, it's about the entire
Crimson Collective.
Throughout Shiny Wars 2026, every member brought their A game, shunting night in and night
out, lighting up our Shiny Collectors tab on Discord day after day. Every shiny caught during
August showed the dedication, teamwork, and spirit that defined Shiny Wars.
Whether you were 5× and 3× hoarding, egging, fishing, single encountering, or using any other
method, you helped make Shiny Wars unforgettable. Everyone who caught a shiny during the month
deserves recognition!

⚔️ Shiny Wars 2026
A first war to remember
Shiny Wars 2026 has officially concluded, with Crimson Core taking 113th,
while Crimson Academy finished at 218th. We caught up with the
Collective's Boss, HeavyBreathing, for a few questions.
Shiny Wars 2026 has just concluded. Can you tell us what this experience was like, being the Collective's first Shiny Wars?
Heavy: “It was honestly wild from start to finish. At no point when we announced we'd take part in this year's wars did we think we would be able to submit two teams, let alone do as well as we did. This was the first war for a lot of our members with little prep, so imagine what we can do next one with a full year's worth of prep work.”
What did you enjoy the most about this year's Shiny Wars?
Heavy: “Seeing everyone's support and reactions to getting shinies, naming them after the link they were in. Joking at who was going to hit next. The team spirit for the whole month never wavered and that will be something I'm immensely proud of but, to be more specific, and it has been mentioned before, but Crimson Cave. Telling everyone to leave and claiming the cave for themselves was an amazing community moment to the point that it has never been called Altering Cave since!”
Is there anything specific you would change with the way the teams were done or how we went about Shiny Wars this year?
Heavy: “Next year will be a lot more structured. This year registrations were ‘Do you want to join?’ whereas next year it will be more questions on what resources they have available and how active they can be to support the team. That said, I am comfortable submitting more than one team again, so even if you can't be active to fill the main team, you will still have a place to enjoy the event.”
Anything as the leader of this Collective you want to say to all of our team members?
Heavy: “Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this Crimson Family such an incredible place to be and for believing in me and my team to give you a space you enjoy being a part of. My goal is for Crimson Collective to be the most interactive and enjoyable team to be a part of and I will not stop to get us there.”

🔍 Get to Know - Crimson Core & Crimson Academy
Every month, we take a moment to shine a light on the people who make Crimson Collective what it
is. This edition's Get to Know features two standout members, one from Crimson Academy
and one from Crimson Core. Through their stories, we get a glimpse of the passion, patience,
and creativity that fuel our community.
First, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Fars: “I'm in my 30s and am a truck driver. Got a whole family so I stay pretty busy but like to enjoy my hobbies when I can. I've always liked Pokemon although I only ever played Red and Yellow as a kid and then just kind of fell out of it. I would occasionally boot up an emulator and play through the old familiar Red again. Then I remembered hearing about PokeMMO one day and thought I'd give it a shot. I found out I could play on mobile and here we are.”
How did you hear about Crimson Collective?
Fars: “I was on Reddit checking out r/PokeMMO and saw someone asking about teams and someone had left a recruitment message. I checked out the website and thought it looked so professional I didn't think it would accept someone so new to the game. I was definitely wrong lol.”
What is your primary focus in the game right now?
Fars: “I'm just working my way through the story right now. Having my background of never progressing beyond gen 1, I thought I'd start out in Unova. Once I'm more experienced I do hope to get into breeding as I find it quite fascinating.”
What is your single favorite PokeMMO memory, achievement, or rare catch so far?
Fars: “Definitely when I went into Lenora's gym, the 2nd in Unova, feeling super confident only to learn about the Retaliate move xD. I almost got wiped out but managed a last-minute win with 8 HP left. The exhilaration was intense.”
Do you have a favorite moment from the team, in game, on Discord, etc.?
Fars: “MastAbhi just decided to give me a Charmander the other day. It's my favorite mon and I am blown away by the kindness and generosity.”
Anything else you would like to add or say to the rest of the team?
Fars: “Just that, as someone who has social anxiety and doesn't put themselves out there very often, I'm so thrilled to have found a community like this team. I've learned so much and feel truly welcome and grateful to be a part of Crimson Collective.”
First, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
MarsalPL: “Does anyone remember Pokémon World Online? I played it like 17 years ago! I think that's actually why I started playing PokeMMO, pure nostalgia.”
How did you hear about Crimson Core?
MarsalPL: “I heard about Crimson Core on global chat from BraggingKnight.”
What is your primary focus in the game right now?
MarsalPL: “Story, I managed to finish the 5th region today.”
What is your single favorite PokeMMO memory, achievement, or rare catch so far?
MarsalPL: “I think I've caught over 10 shinies so far.”
Do you have a favorite moment from the team, in game, on Discord, etc.?
MarsalPL: “Love that shiny sound when it pops up.”
You were just promoted from Crimson Academy to Crimson Core, can you tell me how you felt?
MarsalPL: “I'm really happy, thanks for bringing me into the Core squad.”
Anything else you would like to add or say to the rest of the team?
MarsalPL: “Crimson Core is the best team ever.”
These interviews remind us that Crimson Collective isn't just a team, it's a community built on
passion, creativity, and connection. Whether it's a veteran from Crimson Core or a rising
star from the Academy, every story adds a new spark to what makes our collective special.
Behind every shiny caught and every challenge conquered, there's a person with a story worth
knowing, and that's what Get to Know is all about.
⚙️ Introducing the Iron Crimson Core Team!
We're thrilled to announce the creation of our third official team: Iron Crimson Core
Team! Dedicated to players taking on the Ironman Challenge, this group celebrates true
self-sufficiency: no GTL trades, no player trading or mailing, and full independence in
farming and breeding. Led by MotherNature and MaybeNotLink,
recruitment is now open.
We caught up with MotherNature and MaybeNotLink to ask them about the new team.
What is your position on our new Ironman team?
Nature: “I am currently co-leading the team with MaybeNotLink. Also Teahl has helped me organize some stuff and come up with ideas, and I cannot forget all the hard work from HeavyBreathing on getting everything set up and ready before Wars was even over. He will forever be the GOAT!”
Why should people create an Ironman account and join?
Nature: “This will be my 2nd Ironman and I am absolutely excited to open this new chapter in the team! I cannot wait to progress with everyone and hopefully be able to do events/raids etc. together and maybe even compete in next year's Shiny Wars if there is enough people/interest. If the thought of earning all your Pokémon on your own without access to the GTL/trading sounds like something you would be interested in, this would be a great fit for anyone trying to challenge themselves within the game. It takes a lot of work to do most things, but the payoff in the end, knowing that you did everything with no outside help, really feels great and helps you grow a bond with the team you made along the way! If you have an Ironman or would like to make an Ironman account, it must be on its own account so it doesn't share the donator/account tab with the main account, reach out to me or MaybeNotLink with a @ in Discord and we'll get you in!”
Is there anything else you want to share with the community?
Nature: “Heavy has been working on an Ironman section to the website where we will showcase all major advancements for the team/players, kind of like Xbox achievements, and we will eventually be adding guides and tips and other useful Ironman info!”
What is your position on our new Ironman team?
MNL: “I am a co-boss of the Ironman team.”
Why should people create an Ironman account and join?
MNL: “Well the team is only starting out at the moment, but people are starting to set up the foundations of what their accounts will look like in the future and I think it's a great way to add some difficulty and really play the game in a unique way.”
Is there anything else you want to share with the community?
MNL: “All I want to say to the community is come give Ironman a try, they might like it.”
🔐 Introducing the Crimson Vault!
Something strange is stirring beneath Crimson Collective: the Crimson Vault has been breached!
Shiny Pokémon are slipping through the cracks, raiding treasure stores, and escaping with
loot. By registering your shinies on the shiny wall and staying active in the server, you'll
boost your chances of joining the hunt and claiming rewards from one of five prize tiers.
Keep your eyes on the Vault channel for alerts, your shiny might just be the next culprit
to strike gold.
HeavyBreathing does it again, creating another fantastic idea and bringing it to life in
Discord! Unfortunately, the Discord event will be paused momentarily until the end of
September, so the Collective can rebuild our treasury after a successful Shiny Wars 2026.
💬
Discord Highlights - August
Our Discord is where the real magic happens: the jokes, the chaos, and the unforgettable
moments that make Crimson Collective feel like family. This month's out-of-pocket comment comes
from GymLeaderBrando in VC:
“I'll throw a stroller with a baby in it.”
Unfortunately, I forgot the context of this, but it was during one of the many VC sessions
and everyone was shunting for Shiny Wars.
As September comes to a close, Crimson Collective continues to evolve. From the launch of the
Ironman Team to the mysterious rise of the Crimson Vault and the highly hyped Shiny Tournament,
this month is packed with new challenges, creativity, and community spirit.
October is right around the corner, and if this month proves anything, it's that the Collective
is unstoppable. Keep hunting, keep connecting, and keep showing the PokeMMO community what
Crimson Collective is made of.
See you in next month's edition! 🔴
