Crimson Core member MastAbhi did the unthinkable, he managed to catch a Secret Shiny Alpha Gardevoir. The reactions were strong throughout Crimson Core and the overall PokeMMO community, so we took the time to ask him some questions about this insanely rare encounter.

Can you tell us how you felt when you saw the secret shiny Alpha pop up on your screen, what was your reaction like?

"Okay, there's an interesting story behind my shinies, after my first shiny(Druddigon), I have only encountered shinies when I'm talking to a team member on discord....And 8/10 shines have popped up when I'm literally not looking at the screen, I just got sound or I tried running from them! So, I was never going to get the Alpha in first place, I was helping Leon with something, and I was like I'm getting bored, why not catch this Alpha for Hide N Seek, and as soon as I encountered it, I changed the tabs and was going to start working again, but I heard the shiny sound this time, and I knew at that exact moment it was a Secret as well! And I went crazzzyyyyy after that, my hands started trembling, I was shivering all over, so much that I couldn't even type anything clearly, my heart was beating like a V5....I could hear my own heartbeat from the outside! And this is how I got my love"

Is this your most prized shiny now?

"It is, ngl I never even imagined this will happen to me in my lifetime, whenever I encountered an Alpha, I was always trying to anticipate that it will be shiny....But never happened, ironically the only time I didn't think of it, She popped up! So yea, it's my most loved and prized shiny for now!!!"

Do you plan on keeping it, or are you going to attempt to flip it?

"Ofc man, I'm never ever going to sell this in a billion trillion years, even if someone offers me Max cash limit in game, I won't .....This doesn't happen everyday, atleast no to me being completely F2P"

How many encounters did it take you to hit on a shiny this time around?

"It was 64k encs, and I'm not going to jinx it.....But I've hit way too many under odds shinies, and I will take it honestly....Even if I had gone 100k dry, It would've been worth it!!"

What kind of poke ball did you catch it in?

"Had to Master Ball it for sure, a trophy deserves a better storage as well imo"

Was there ever a moment that you felt you were going to lose it?

"Absolutely, so I use the "Love Ball strat" to catch Alphas but when I encountered this banger, I forgot everything she went indignent and with 6+ in all the stats, she literally one shot everything in her way! People in global were like u can try again, it won't go and everything but I couldn't risk it.....So I went for the Master Ball and nothing would be more worthy of that!"

How was the team's overall reaction to the catch?

"I started spamming in the chat, going crazy and just wanted everyone to know that I encountered a Shlapha.....I was like "Shalpahaaaaa Shalpahaaaaa, guys OMG"

And as soon I said that the team started going crazy as well, they helped me to stay calm....And made sure I don't mess this up! Everyone had such great reactions, and tbh that's what made this achievement lot more worth it and one of the best moments in my life yet!"

How did the overall PokeMMO community react?

"As soon as I shouted Shalpahaaaaa in global, everyone was like "We don't care until u link it " I was like wait a sec.....And soon as I linked it people were like u're lucky man, you've spent all of your luck no point in doing shiny wars now And the most common phrase I heard was "The guy got generational wealth now" So it was so so so much fun to share it with everyone, I even DMed Patrouski and he replied with so many compliments and it made my day as well"

Do you have anything else you would like to add before we rap up?

"Last thing I want to say is, Miracles happen you just have to be patient, grind and the thing I say mostly "Do good, and good will come to u"
