Bird Up 3.0 is designed to clear Virizion with nearly no RNG when the builds, abilities, items, and final stat ranges are correct.
Verify every teammate before entering. Many Pokémon do not need one exact EV spread; the important part is reaching the required final stat range. The standard line uses controlled Brave Bird damage, Final Gambit, Flying Gem Acrobatics, Brick Break and Reflect management, then a Garchomp Dig endgame.
⚠️
Core rule
Abilities, natures, EVs, IVs, moves, and items must all be checked before the raid. Make sure every required Jaboca Berry is equipped. Use final-stat requirements rather than copying EVs blindly.
⚙️ Virizion Mechanics
🧠
Oblivious exception
Virizion normally moves first unless your Pokémon has Oblivious. Adds do not follow this exception. Even with Oblivious, you still need enough Speed to act first.
📉
HP thresholds
100% opening, 86% Light Screen, 76% alternating type effectiveness, 61% Swords Dance, 41% Reflect, and 26% five action turns instead of four.
🧬
Encounter
Ability: Justified. Held item: Liechi Berry. Boss base stats include 910 HP, 720 Defense, 1290 Special Defense, and 315 Speed before raid modifiers.
🛡️
Damage checkpoints
Skarmory must hit the intended cap, Staraptor must land the correct recoil and Final Gambit timing, and Flying Gem Acrobatics must hit cap damage through Reflect.
➕
Add Speed
Gallade 253, Farfetch'd 213, Sceptile 333, Samurott 233, Scyther 303, and Absol 243 Speed. Every add has 25 IVs and 252 Speed EVs.
⚔️
Boss moves
Sacred Sword at 108 BP, Leaf Blade at 108 BP, Stone Edge at 130 BP, and X-Scissor at 104 BP.

👥 Player Builds and Manual Stats
No external team links are used here. Each tab carries the supplied manual-stat block, including final-stat targets where the source provides them. Reach the stated ranges even if your EV distribution differs.
Opening control, recoil, utility, and Dig endgame
P1's final-stat requirements are the reference build for the opening and the endgame. Reach the stated ranges even if your EV distribution differs.

Oblivious is mandatory for the opening interaction. Jynx should die on turn 1 and tank two hits on turn 7 if used again.

P1/P2 must use Intimidate; P3/P4 must not. Adamant/Naughty adds about 5% failure and requires every Staraptor at 236–239 Defense.

Jaboca Berry on P1/P2 helps the AI target P4 Metagross. P1 breaks the remaining Reflect on turn 9.
Slot 6
Garchomp

EarthquakeDig ★
Earthquake on turn 10, then Dig through the endgame. Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet damage help close the raid.
Reflect, cap damage, and target control
P2 follows the supplied manual builds through Reflect, Brave Bird, Final Gambit, Brick Break, Explosion, and the Dig endgame. Use the target ranges exactly where listed.
Reflect on turn 9, Explosion on turn 10. Jaboca helps the AI target P4 Metagross.

EarthquakeDig
Earthquake clears extra damage on turn 10. Then use Dig every turn.
Trick, Acrobatics, Brick Break, and Charm
P3 opens with Jynx Trick, follows the shared Skarmory and Staraptor line, keeps Gliscor alive for Brick Break, then uses Illumise Charm while Garchomp takes over.
The line depends on specific deaths and survivors. Read the success condition on each transition rather than treating the moves as interchangeable.
Turn 1
Opening setup
Jynx must die
P1Jynx→Lucky Chant
P2Jynx→Reflect
P3Jynx→Trick
P4Toxicroak→Aerial Ace
Check: All Jynx should die. Toxicroak should be damaged only by Night Slash from Farfetch'd. Oblivious on Jynx is mandatory.
Turn 2
Skarmory phase
Target: ~80.7%
P1Skarmory→Brave Bird
P2Skarmory→Brave Bird
P3Skarmory→Brave Bird
P4Toxicroak→Aerial Ace
Speed: Toxicroak must outspeed Farfetch'd so it is targeted, acts, then dies to Farfetch'd. Each Skarmory should take one Gallade attack plus recoil and Life Orb damage.
Turn 3
Cap damage
Target: ~64.1%
P1Skarmory→Brave Bird
P2Skarmory→Brave Bird
P3Skarmory→Brave Bird
P4Skarmory→Brave Bird
Goal: All Skarmory live through the turn and hit cap damage. P4 Skarmory should be focused down.
Turn 4
Death turn
Target: ~63.6%
P1Skarmory→Dies
P2Skarmory→Dies
P3Skarmory→Dies
P4Skarmory→Dies
Check: Everything should die without getting an attack off. Click any move. If a Skarmory lives, the Life Orb is not equipped.
Turn 5
Staraptor
Target: ~47.1%
P1Staraptor→Brave Bird
P2Staraptor→Brave Bird
P3Staraptor→Brave Bird
P4Staraptor→Brave Bird
Ability check: P1/P2 should apply Intimidate; P3/P4 should not. A Farfetch'd Defiant boost or Virizion not at −2 Attack means an ability is wrong. Charti Berry keeps Staraptor alive despite random targeting.
Turn 6
Final Gambit
Target: ~46.6%
P1Staraptor→Final Gambit
P2Staraptor→Final Gambit
P3Staraptor→Final Gambit
P4Staraptor→Final Gambit
Goal: Everyone dies and the field is clear. Extra Final Gambit damage is welcome but not necessary and usually will not happen.
Turn 7
Flying Gem
Target: ~35.0%
P1Gliscor→Acrobatics
P2Gliscor→Acrobatics
P3Gliscor→Acrobatics
P4Jynx→Lucky Chant
Targeting: Jynx should tank two hits with Focus Sash. P1/P2 Gliscor tank the other two. If P3 Gliscor is targeted by Virizion, its EVs are wrong. Acrobatics must hit cap damage through Reflect.
Turn 8
Brick Break and Trick
Target: ~34.4%
P1Gliscor→Dies
P2Gliscor→Dies
P3Gliscor→Brick Break
P4Metagross→Trick
Goal: P1/P2 Gliscor die while P3 Gliscor lives to land Brick Break. The P1/P2 Gliscor should tank three hits while P3 takes one. Reflect should need only one more hit to break.
Turn 9
Break Reflect
Target: ~33.3%
P1Metagross→Brick Break
P2Metagross→Reflect
P3Gliscor→Dies
P4Metagross→Dies
Targeting: P3 Gliscor and P4 Metagross may tank three or four hits depending on rolls; either outcome is fine. P1 Metagross breaks the remaining Reflect. Jaboca on P1/P2 helps target P4 Metagross.
Turn 10
Clear the field for Garchomp
Target: ~27.8%
P1Metagross→Explosion
P2Metagross→Explosion
P3Illumise→Charm
P4Garchomp→Earthquake
Transition: Illumise should survive a hit and use Charm. P1/P2 Metagross clear the field with Explosion; both explosions are not required. Garchomp uses Earthquake for extra damage and to kill Farfetch'd.
Turn 11
Dig begins
Boss HP: ~20.8%
P1Garchomp→Dig
P2Garchomp→Dig
P3Garchomp→Dig
P4Garchomp→Dig
Endgame: All Garchomps should survive to get Dig off, dealing heavy damage while tanking Sacred Sword and Leaf Blade at roughly 7.5% per turn. Charm prevents Sceptile from boosting Virizion from −2 Attack to +1; it goes from −2 to −1 instead.
Turn 12Dig turn
Continue Dig. Watch for adds potentially hitting Virizion for extra damage.
~12.3%
Turn 13Dig
Click Dig again. Lucky Chant wears off, but repeated critical hits would be needed to stop the win.
~4.8%
Turn 14Dig turn
Continue Dig. The fight is almost over.
~4.8%
Turn 15Finish
Use Dig or any move. Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin damage complete the raid this turn.
